[ Comparison of the effects of training using a rehabilitation device (Rebless) or palliative treatment on the gait ability of stroke patients : prospective, control groups, randomly controlled, Investigator Initiated, academic clinical trial. ]
Through this clinical trial, we confirmed that the rebless electric orthotic exercise device developed by H Robotics Inc. can be applied safely and positively to the reconstruction of muscles and recovery of joint movements of patients with ambulatory disorders due to stroke. It was also confirmed that the subject's ability to balance improved after the lower limb rehabilitation exercise using rebless.
However, since this clinical trial is an exploratory clinical trial conducted with a small number of subjects, more subjects need to be designed to demonstrate the effectiveness of rebless rehabilitation of motorized orthopedic devices. The data from this study can be used to establish clinical treatment options such as number and interval of treatments in rehabilitation with rebless.
This clinical trial was supported by the commercialization certification and demonstration support project of orthopedic rehabilitation medical devices.
